A total transformation of kitchen space changed a non-functional working area into a functional kitchen providing abundant storage and more work areas.  Removing a wall between the kitchen and family room opened up both rooms to make cooking and entertaining easier. 

The kitchen now includes a center island and the new location of the breakfast table gives the family better access to their backyard pool.  Every cook wants a special place to keep their cookbooks and recipes.  Mary designed a unique cookbook area which makes it easy, fun and functional when it comes to finding that special recipe. 

The downstairs half-bath was also remodeled.  New bath fixtures were installed.  To give the owners more privacy, Mary included new insulation and soundproof drywall.
