During Mary's first visit to this home, she saw that the design and function of space was not well-utilized.  The kitchen has been redesigned to include new cabinets, appliances, flooring and lighting.  Mary also extended the exterior wall of the dining room four feet for the client's family gatherings.

Listening to the homeowner's concerns, Mary replaced all the windows and added additional windows to provide more natural light and better ventilation.  The exterior of the home also received a facelift with new pre-painted Hardiplank concrete siding, gutters, a new rood and a new garage door.  These changes took the look of the 1970s home into the 21st century.

As with many clients, these homeowners had an interest in green building.  It was important for them to work with products and/or companies that use environmentally-friendly products/practices.  Mary also worked with the clients to share lifestyle changes that will enable them to live more "green".
