The Stone project was a partial renovation of an existing kitchen and breakfast nook. All of the existing cabinetry, flooring and fixtures were removed leaving only the original plaster walls intact. We installed new and updated lighting, cabinetry, flooring, countertops and appliances, giving the house a traditional look and feel while letting the homeowner's enjoy all the modern conveniences.
Besides being incredible to look at, the kitchen and nook have been reorganized to allow better use of the space and providing a more functional area for the family. The inspiration for the kitchen came from the overall style of the home's other spaces, as well as the Dutch Colonial design of the house. We wanted to keep the Old World, traditional feel that existed in the home and we think our choices reflect that very well.
